This distinguished Advisory Committee assists in
compiling a list of recommended additions to Middle and Junior High
Core Collection. That list is then submitted to a group of
experienced librarians-familiar with the needs of children and
representing diverse geographical areas-who vote on which titles to
include. In most cases their vote represents the composite judgment of a
number of their colleagues.
