The Sears List of Subject Headings,
the standard thesaurus of subject terminology for small
and medium sized libraries since 1923, is available
as an electronic database on WilsonWeb. As with the
original print Sears List, the new electronic
version provides a list of essential headings, together
with patterns and examples to guide the cataloger in
creating additional headings as needed.
The database includes all the material in the 20th
edition of the Sears List, plus all headings
added since the publication of that edition. New
headings are added on a regular basis.

according to relevance and include all the following
elements:
-

-
